CREATIVE SERVICES PRODUCER/EDITOR: Talented and experienced producer/editor needed for the number one station in Jacksonville, Florida. Must be able to work as part of a creative services team, interface with clients, producers and station account executives.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Must have experience writing, producing and editing high-end looking promos, commercials and programming. Familiarity with broadcast stations a plus, college degree or equivalent work experience required. Prefer 4 to 5 years experience in TV station or agency setting.

TV NEWS ASSOCIATE PRODUCER: Assist producer in all aspects of producing a newscast. Responsibilities include writing news stories and teases, editing, research, posting to social media, and monitoring news feeds. You will be assigned other duties as needed. This is the perfect position for someone who wants to become a newscast producer.

TELEVISION NEWS PRODUCER: Will be responsible to organize the program format, direct production staff and on-air talent in their duties, write portions of the program, supervise editing and dubbing of the tapes and time the broadcast. TELEVISION NEWS PRODUCER TRAINEE:   WJXT-TV, a Post-Newsweek Station, is looking for a Producer-In-Training. In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Producers to develop producing skills. You will also work closely with producers in all aspects of putting together a newscast. This includes writing stories, teases, editing video, producing graphics and posting to various social media platforms. You will be assigned other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Prefer college degree in journalism or communications. We are looking for someone who is aggressive and isn’t afraid to ask questions. We need someone who learns from their mistakes and can handle multiple tasks.

This is a temporary full-time trainee position that typically lasts a year. It is our hope that you will excel and become a newscast producer. Expect to work long hours, weekends and holidays as needed.

TV GENERAL ASSIGNMENT REPORTER: We are looking for a general assignment reporter. Must be able to handle breaking news and turn daily content quickly. Need strong storyteller with the ability to produce engaging live shots, stand-ups and teases. Morning show reporter turns several stories a day--including content for web. TECHNICIAN/OPERATING TECHNICIAN (2 openings):  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, running on-air master control, setting up program and commercial recordings through video servers, checking the technical quality and preparing those recordings for broadcast, as well as, coordinate and tune in multiple satellite and microwave feeds. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of a broadcast environment and a mid-level understanding of a non-linear video workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: The candidate must have excellent learning skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in stressful situations. An in-depth understanding of a PC based computer network is required. Excellent record keeping and attention to details is a must. This position will be required to work various shifts including nights and/or weekends.
