JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The U.S. Marshals Service said a man wanted in connection with a Jacksonville homicide has been arrested in the central Maine town of Norridgewock.

Shaun Corson, 33, was wanted in connection with the June 26 killing of 31-year-old Stephanie Slevin, who was found dead in her Savannah Oaks apartment on Roosevelt Boulevard on the Westside.

Jacksonville authorities asked for assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service in locating Corson, who is originally from Madison, Maine.

While conducting surveillance just after noon Thursday, investigators observed Corson driving away from a home in Madison, which borders Norridgewock.

Authorities stopped the vehicle and arrested Corson without incident. Corson was being held as a fugitive from justice at the Somerset County Jail in Skowhegan.
