JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

One man was killed and another seriously hurt in two separate shootings that happened within blocks of each other Saturday morning.

Terrell Buiey was fatally shot at the Summer Oaks Apartments along the Arlington Expressway about 9 a.m. A second victim whose name has not been released showed up a grocery store along University Boulevard.

Police believe Buiey may have been shot during a robbery arrempt. They said they have no leads in either shooting, and it's too early to tell if the shootings are connected.

Buiey was the cousin of Lito Sheppard, a Raines High School graduate and former University of Florida star who is currently a cornerback with the Philadelphia Eagles.
