JACKSONVILL, Fla. -

Detectives with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office are searching for culprits after two people were found dead in two different parts of town.

One incident took place on Toledo Road on the Southside and the other on Plum Street on the Westside.

The Southside incident took place at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday when a man was shot to death at a laundromat.

Police said the man, who was not identified, may have been an employee at the laundry mat and the shooting may have resulted from a robbery attempt.

Mourners set up a makeshift memorial at the scene of the fatal shooting.

Police were also called out to the 3000 block of Plum Street at 1 a.m. Sunday.

Homicide detectives continue to investigate that incident as well.
