Shad Khan to make presentation

Jaguars owner Shad Khan keeps coming with the changes and is expected to bring more good news to Jacksonville in a news conference Tuesday afternoon.

A new logo and uniform will be unveiled this year, and the Jags are playing a game in Europe next season.

On Tuesday, fans will get even more news from Khan and the team's president.

The presentation will be given by the franchise leaders at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

With so many new hires, a new uniform and logo coming and announcements about the game in London, momentum is building for 2014.

"Last season was horrible," Jags fan Darren Respess said. "But I think that we're making proper moves. We're making progress."

Respess shares similar sentiments of most Jaguars fans. The team hit rock bottom with a 2-14 record last season, so it can only go up from here.

It looks like Khan is making moves to head in that direction.

Two huge announcements were already made last week. The Jacksonville Jaguars will be sporting a new look next season and the game in London is already sold out. Fans are wondering what else could be announced today.

"I think the one thing they're going to talk about is raising ticket prices but also raising the product level of the football team. That's number one," said Joe Cowart, of 1010 XL Sports Radio. "People are going to be asked to pay more, so they're going to expect more."

Cowart talks with Jags fans daily on his sports radio show. Ticket prices a huge talker. Despite the dreadful 2013 record, there were no blackouts, a testament to fan loyalty.

But many fans are wondering how to keep up ticket sales after the worst season in franchise history.

"He's trying to do everything he can energy-wise to lift this football team up to make better decisions, and yeah, you're right, they spend a lot of money to go see a lousy football team," Cowart said. "But if they can deliver results, start winning, then this fan base is just going to grow."

Cowart is worried Khan and Lamping may announce another game will be played in London.

Last year Khan announced the team would play four regular season games in London beginning with this coming season, which was met with a lot of criticism by fans.

But Khan has proven to fans he's remaking the organization. Fans are excited again to see what new head coach Gus Bradley and general manager Dave Caldwell have in store.
