Does your foundation need repairs? Some of these signs could signal that it’s time to call a professional.

Cracks in your walls in the inside of your home is one sign that your foundation may need repairs. Also, cracks in the bricks in your fireplace could be another sign, as could cracks in the concrete at the base of your home.

Your windows can also offer you signs. If your windows don’t fit properly, or if there are horizontal cracks on your windows, it could signal foundation problems.

Water can also signal foundation issues. Standing water around your home after a rainfall can mean you have drainage issues, which can affect your foundation.

Trees too close to your house can also be a red flag. The roots can potentially damage your foundation.
