State flags have unique looks

In addition to the American flag that represents the entire U.S., each state also has its own state flag.

These flags can represent the state’s own ideals and symbols.

The flags vary from state to state. Some state flags are red, white and blue and resemble the American flag.

Most state flags include an emblem of the state on their flag.

Some states also include animals on their flags. Animals can symbolize power and strength.
