Man hit by 2 cars in Arlington

Victim taken to UF Health with life-threatening injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two cars hit a man on Cesery Blvd. Thursday morning.  He was taken to UF Health with life-threatening injuries.

A car traveling southbound hit him.  The second car, also heading southbound, ran over the man shortly after.

"I don't know what he was doing in the street.  He was not on the sidewalk," said Lt. Mike Beckmann with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m. and closed  Cesery Blvd. between Macy Ave. and Commerce St.  

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office did not release the victim's identity, but said he was in his 20s.
