Andrew Garfield was born in Los Angeles on Aug. 20, 1993.
His mother is British and his father is American.
When Garfield was about 3 when his family moved to England. His English upbringing led to him becoming friends with fellow British actor, Robert Pattinson.
Garfield was raised Jewish.
His first roles where on stage before he made his TV debut in a British television series, “Sugar Rush.”
Garfield’s first big role came in 2010 when he played Eduardo Saverin in “The Social Network.” Garfield and Jesse Eisenberg, who starred in the film, are good friends.
That same year he played Tommy in “Never Let Me Go.”
Garfield increased his fame in 2012 when he starred as Peter Parker in “The Amazing Spider-Man.”
Garfield will return as the hero in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” in 2014.
Garfield began dating Emma Stone in 2012 after the filming of Spider-Man.
