The Fourth of July fireworks show over the St. Johns River.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A series of fireworks events will light up the night sky over the St. Johns River this summer, the city of Jacksonville announced Monday.

The city announced a partnership with The Jacksonville Landing and Pyro Shows that will produce three Summer of Lights fireworks displays: June 7, July 4 and Aug. 2.

Each show will begin at approximately 9:45 p.m.

The fireworks will be launched from two barges on the St. Johns River – one in front of the Landing and one east of the Main Street Bridge. Spectators can watch the fireworks along the Northbank Riverwalk and at Friendship Fountain on the Southbank.
