Rolling Stones to perform at Citrus Bowl in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida rock fans got some big news on Tuesday.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer officially announced that The Rolling Stones will perform at the Citrus Bowl on June 12.

The Orlando stop will be part of a 15-city North American stadium tour dubbed ZIP Code, which will start May 24 at Petco Park in San Diego.

Other cities on the tour include Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Detroit, Buffalo and Quebec. Tickets will go on sale April 13.

The tour will coincide with the rerelease of their seminal album "Sticky Fingers" on May 26. The 1971 recording features such Stones classics as "Brown Sugar," ''Wild Horses" and "Dead Flowers."

"We are excited to be back in North America playing stadiums this summer! We are looking forward to being back on stage and playing your favorite songs," Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger said.

"We love being out on the road and it is great to come back to North America! I can't wait to get back on the stage," Rolling Stones band member Keith Richards said.
