3. Between 133 percent and 400 percent of the poverty line --  $88,000 for a family of four -- families will get tax credits on a sliding scale to help pay for private insurance.

We’re three weeks away from the deadline to be signed up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.  Those without insurance on April 1 face a penalty of $95 per person or 1 percent of your income, whichever is higher.

If you still need to get signed up,  Channel 4 is here to help.  On Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., local experts will be at the station to take your phone calls and answer your health care reform questions.  The phone numbers to call and online information will be on that afternoon.

In Florida, 88 percent of new enrollees receive financial help to defray the cost of premiums.

Those who don't sign up by March 31 will not be able to buy a health insurance plan again until Nov. 15, when the next open enrollment period begins.
