Police: Naked ‘cowboy' breaks into homes

Man drinks beer in stranger's home, watches baseball on TV

Police say a man wearing nothing but a cowboy hat broke into multiple houses and made himself at home.

21-year-old Ashdon Gibbs is facing charges of burglary, criminal trespassing and indecent exposure after police say he stole a car and then broke into several homes in the Atlanta suburb of Johns Creek, Ga. According to KXAN-TV, one of the homes belonged to City Councilwoman Cori Davenport, who reported that a man who was "completely naked except for a cowboy hat" walked into her home while she and her daughter were inside.

Gibbs then allegedly broke into another family's home, where he drank a beer, made himself a meal and watched an Atlanta Braves baseball game on the family's TV.

Police say Gibbs told them the Johnsons were his parents, even though they had never seen him before. Also, Gibbs is African-American and the Johnsons are Caucasian.

Once captured, dash cam video shows Gibbs telling detectives he was a U.S. Marshal who had bigger aspirations.

"I'm trying to be the president, but y'all won't let me be," said Gibbs.

Gibbs remains in custody.
