ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – One person was critically injured in a single-vehicle car crash in St. Augustine early Tuesday morning.
Police said the crash happened around 4 a.m. just off Hildreth Drive, near the intersection of San Marco Avenue just north and State Road 16.

The St. Augustine Police Department said a car was speeding down the street and hit a fire hydrant, went through a fence and hit a tree.
The name of the victim and other details have not been released.
Water in the neighborhood was off for several hours after the crash, but restored just after noon.
