1 dead in mobile home fire in St. Augustine

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -

One person is confirmed dead after a fire at a mobile home Sunday evening on Fourth Avenue, just south of the St. Augustine Airport.

When firefighters arrived at the home about 7 p.m., smoke was billowing from the windows and the roof

Crews were able to put the fire out in about 15 minutes.

Officials weren't able to confirm the body pulled from the fire is a man or woman.

The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
