An 82-year-old man died Monday night when his motorhome drifted into oncoming traffic on U.S Highway 301 in Nassau County and struck a pickup truck head on, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

George Miller, of North Fort Myers, was pronounced dead at the scene after the 6:25 p.m. collision. The driver of the Ford F-150, Harold Lassiter, 57, of Winter Haven, was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center with critical injuries.
