1 minor injury in school bus crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

One student was transported to a hospital with minor injuries after a school bus accident Tuesday morning on Jacksonville's Northside.

According to a Duval County school spokeswoman, a bus transporting students to A. Philip Randolp Academies of Technology when it was involved in a crash just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of West 45th Street at and Moncrief Road -- only blocks from the school.

Authorities say two other students were picked up at the scene by their parents.

Jacksonville police and Fire-Rescue responded to the crash, but had no details about the incident.
