Stymied by yet another outing that featured multiple unforced errors, lackluster offense and a tepid defense, the Jaguars fell into an early hole Thursday night and never recovered in a 27-10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
In the ultimate sign of frustration, fans wore bags over their head during Thursday's night's name.
It was the Jaguars' eighth loss out of nine games, and fourth loss in front of the home fans.
"We're bad. We're really bad," said fan Jim Lamagdeline as he left the stadium Thursday night. Asked what can be done, he answered, "Fire Gene Smith."
All five regular season games in EverBank Field this season have ended in a loss.
