JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

An 18-year-old man shot in the head while riding a bike last week has died.

Officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office called at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday to Spires Avenue, near Fairfax Street in the Moncrief Park area, found Darryl Arnold with a gunshot wound.

Arnold was taken to UF Health Jacksonville in critical condition. Police said Tuesday he died.
