One Spark, the world's first crowdfunding festival, will include almost 900 creators and co-creators displaying projects in the arts, music, science and technology at 58 venues throughout downtown Jacksonville.
The event features a guaranteed $250,000 crowdfund to be distributed based on public vote, and a pledge of up to $1 million in equity investments for chosen Creators from STACHE Investments Corp.
As soon as the festival opened at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jacksonville residents were already taking to downtown and see what's there to be seen.
By the time opening ceremonies began at 6 p.m., thousands had arrived to check out the creators, the art, entertainment and excitement.
Channel 4 anchored a live, prime-time special from Hemming Plaza at 8 p.m.
There is a lot of artwork on display downtown for One Spark.
People at this booth have been preparing all morning for the opening of One Spark celebration that began today at 3pm.

Multiple stages provided non-stop entertainment all evening.
