2 Publix thief suspects identified, eliminated as suspects

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -

Detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office say the two men that were being sought in connection with at least two thefts at a Publix grocery store in January were located and eliminated as suspects.

The two men were taken into questioning, but detectives say afterwards they were eliminated as suspects and the investigation remains ongoing.

Detectives said they are seeking at least one suspect who is suspected of stealing over $700 worth of diapers, baby wipes and dog food on two dates in January.
