JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -

A man and woman were arrested Monday afternoon after the man lit the woman's car on fire in a domestic dispute just before officers found the two having sex on the beach, according to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

Officers were called to the pier parking lot in the 500 Block of First Street North about 5:40 p.m. in reference to a vehicle fire.

Officers arrived and secured the area for fire personnel, then made contact with witnesses, who told them David Aiuppy, 29, and Kathy Granone, 31, became involved in a domestic dispute and began throwing things from the vehicle.

Witnesses told police Granone walked away from the vehicle and Aiuppy began to light the vehicle on fire. Police said Aiuppy then went out to the beach to meet with Granone.

Witnesses told officers where the two were, and when officers found them, the two were having sex on the beach in full view of the public.

Both were arrested. Aiuppy is charged with arson to a vehicle and exposure of sexual organs. Granone is charged with exposure of sexual organs and resisting an officer without violence.
