An Orlando apartment complex is evacuated when a fire breaks out.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Three people were found dead early Tuesday after a fire that ripped through an Orlando apartment complex, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Details about the victims, including their ages, were not released.

The blaze was reported around 3:30 a.m. at the Misty Oaks apartments near West Colonial Drive and Hiawassee Road.

Dozens were forced from their homes and four units were damaged by fire.

Witnesses said flames were shooting 30 feet into the air before firefighters extinguished the blaze.

One man was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation, but he was expected to be OK, fire officials said.

The state fire marshal will investigate the cause of the fire.
