2 hurt in crash with train in Baker County

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. -

Two people were in serious condition after a crash with a train in Baker County on Friday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

State troopers said Cynthia Gordon, 36, and Ashley Suggs, 16, both of Sanderson, were heading north on County Road 127 about 1:15 p.m.

They said Gordon was driving and approached the railroad tracks south of State Road 2 when it collided with a train.

Both Gordon and Suggs were taken to UF Health Jacksonville.

Troopers said charges are pending.
