JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two men have been convicted in connection with a shooting at a 7-Eleven store in Jacksonville Beach, state attorneys said.
Lamonte Arrington, 25, was found guilty Thursday evening of attempted first-degree murder and accessory after the fact. State attorneys said Cordaro Hilton-Washington, 25, was also convicted Thursday of attempted first-degree murder.

Arrington, Hilton-Washington and a victim got into an argument at the 7-Eleven in Jacksonville Beach in September 2014.
When the victim left the store, Arrington and Hilton-Washington followed him outside and shot the victim multiple times, state attorneys said. The two got into Arrington's car and fled the state.
Arrington was later arrested in Baltimore, Maryland. State attorneys said Hilton-Washington, a former Navy sailor, later turned himself in at the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, where he was stationed at the time.
Arrington faces up to 30 years in prison, state attorneys said. Hilton-Washington faces a mandatory minimum 25-year prison sentence and up to life in prison. The two will be sentenced the week of Sept. 28.
