2 shot, killed at Westside Golden Corral restaurant

VIDEO: Two people are dead after a shooting in a restaurant parking lot. Police responded to the Golden Corral on Normandy Boulevard just before 9 this evening.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Two men were shot and killed at a Golden Corral restaurant on the Westside Sunday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Police were called just before 9 p.m. to investigate a suspicious death in the parking lot of the restaurant on Normandy Boulevard.

Officer Melissa Bujeda with said officers found one man dead in a truck, another was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead there.

Police are looking for the gunman who left with a group of people in a vehicle.

"We hope to release a photograph of the vehicle the suspects were seen in. We believe multiple individuals were in that vehicle. We're asking for anyone with information to please contact police," Bujeda said.
