JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 21-year-old Jacksonville man has been convicted for killing a man he shot in a billiards hall parking lot.
The state attorney's office said Jamey Edgington faces life in prison for shooting Reginald Martin after an argument the two had inside Blanding Billiards in March 2011.

According to authorities, surveillance video shows the two in the midst of a verbal dispute inside the business. Martin is seen walking out to the parking lot.
Police said Edgington drove up to Martin's vehicle in his pickup truck and fired three shots at him. When the victim attempted to get away, Edgington tried to run him over, authorities said.
"We are pleased with the verdicts and hopeful they bring some peace of mind to the victims and families in both cases," said Assistant State Attorney John Guy.
Edgington was convicted on a carjacking charge in September 2008.
He is also charged in a 2011 double killing. Edgington faces the death penalty in that case. A trial date has not been set.
