Osceola County sheriff's investigators told WKMG-TV that more than 100 people were at a house party on Emerald Green Court and deputies were called to an "armed disturbance."

During an attempted traffic stop, a deputy said the three suspects started firing shots at him and his patrol car. No one was injured.

Deputies eventually pulled the suspects' car over and took them into custody.

Dantzler, a passenger in the backseat, and Castaneda, the driver, cooperated with the investigation and admitted to deputies they were at the party, the Sheriff's Office said.

All three were arrested on charges of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, discharge of a gun from a vehicle and committing a second-degree felony with a weapon. Dantzler and Jimenez were also charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

The trio was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
