BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – The Baker County Sheriff's Office says they arrested four people and charged them with stealing nearly $20,000 worth of items from the Baker County Hunting Club.
Investigators said three men and one woman from Sanderson, Fla. broke into the hunting club in west Baker County and stole things from the camp.
Baker County Sheriff Joey Dobson told Channel 4 that he is familiar with the four suspects.
"We've dealt with these people many times and we know if something like that happens on that side of Sanderson," said Dobson.
Sheriff's deputies said the group stole things like four wheelers, weapons and a boat, that they assume the crooks used to sell for scrap metal.
The Baker County Sheriff's Office arrested 23-year-old Michael Hodges, 23-year-old John Adam Mann, 44-year-old John Paul Mann and 26-year-old Amanda Weichman for the crime.
"It would be what we call a large burglary, even though we were able to return all the items, most of the items," said Dobson.
Dobson said most of the items stolen were returned to their owners. The boat however, was sold for scrap.
The group of four suspects are facing felony larceny charges, as well as felony charges for dealing in stolen property.
