PALM COAST, Fla. – Deputies say two adults and two teenagers from Palm Coast have been charged by Flagler County detectives in connection with the shooting Monday night of a 19-year-old man in what detectives say grew out of a drug deal.
Mathew Leslie Smith, 18, has been arrested and charged with attempted felony murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Detectives named Smith as the person who fired several shots at Trevor Blumenfeld striking him once in the right arm with the bullet passing through his arm and into his chest.
Deputies said three other Palm Coast residents charged in connection with the incident are 20-year-old Matthew D. Morris, charged with accessory to aggravated battery, and two juveniles: 16-year-old Raymond M. Spencer, charged with principal to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and 15-year-old Cameron M. Parker, charged with accessory to aggravated battery.
Blumenfeld was found following the shooting bleeding severely from his wounds at the front door of his mother's home on Llovera Place. Deputies arrived at the scene and attended to Blumenfeld, who officials said was flown to Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach where he underwent surgery.
Blumenfeld's condition remains critical but stable, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
"Our people did a tremendous job securing the scene and conducting a thorough investigation into this incident," said Sheriff James L. Manfre.
Smith was arrested and is being held at the Flagler County Detention Facility on $200,000 bond. Deputies said Morris turned himself in at the Flagler County Detention Facility and was being held on $20,000 bond. Deputies said Thursday night Morris may have already made his $20,000 bond and was then released. Parker is in custody and will be transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice facility in Daytona Beach.
Detectives believe that Spencer fled the state and may be headed to Texas.
