ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -

Two young man and two young women are being sought for questioning in connection with unlawful credit card purchases last month, according to St. Johns County deputies.

They said a 24-year-old woman reported a burglary to her vehicle April 1 in the 300 block of Whisper Ridge Drive.

Deputies said her car was unlocked and thieves stole her purse containing a wallet and several credit cards.

Deputies said one of the credit cards was used nearly 19 times throughout the day with the majority of charges completed at the St. Augustine Outlet Mall at State Road 16 and Interstate 95. The total amount of fraudulent charges on the victim's credit cards was about $1,200, deputies said.

Investigators said the four sought appear to be in their late teens or early 20s.

Anyone with any information on their identities is asked to call Detective Andrew Stoinoff at the St. Johns
County Sheriff's Office at 904-209-2148 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477).
