JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 5-month-old boy who was unresponsive at an apartment complex Tuesday afternoon died at a hospital, according to Jacksonville police.
Homicide investigators were called to the Southside Apartments in the 2300 block of Westmont Street in South Metro at about 12:45 p.m.

The boy was taken to Baptist Medical Center, where he died.
Police said there was no obvious trauma to the baby.
They said the cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Medical Examiner.
