JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 61-year-old man was convicted Thursday afternoon of lewd or lascivious molestation of a minor, according to the state attorney's office.
In July 2010, authorities said a 6-year-old boy was under the care of Feliciano Montijo, 61, for the evening.

During this time, state attorneys said Montijo inappropriately touched the boy, even though the boy repeatedly asked him to stop.
The boy told his mother what had happened and she immediately notified authorities.
Officials said Montijo fled the state and was later arrested on an arrest warrant.
Montijo now faces a minimum of 25 years in prison. Authorities said he will be sentenced on Oct. 14.
