7 hurt in crash
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Seven people were taken to the hospital after a head-on collision Thursday night on the Northside.

Police said the crash happened at 7 p.m. Thursday on Evergreen Avenue, which wraps around Evergreen Cemetery.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said five adults and two children, ages 3 and 12, were taken to UF Health with broken bones and lacerations.

Everyone inside both vehicles were wearing their seat belts. Officers at the scene stressed that the seat belts saved the lives of the victims in this accident.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating to determine who was at fault in the crash.

No other details were released Thursday night.
