84-year-old robbed in home invasion

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -

Detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office are seeking information to help identify a man who robbed an 84-year-old man in a home invasion Saturday night.

The victim told deputies the robber smashed a glass door window, ran through the home on Lewis Speedway and struck him with an object, then stolen his wallet.

The victim was treated by St. Johns County Fire-Rescue for non-life threatening injuries.

He described the robber as a white man, about 6 feet tall and 190-200 pounds. The robber was wearing a grey and white ball cap.
