JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Alabama murder suspect and hostage taker Jimmy Lee Dykes, who was shot and killed Monday, used to live in Jacksonville, the FBI confirmed.

Dykes lived in at the Big Tree RV Park on the Northside in the mid-2000s.

FBI agents went there to talk to the owner and residents who may have known him.

Agent Jeff Westcott said "no information of value" turned up through the interviews.

Dykes had no arrest record in Duval County.
