Amber Alert cancelled for N. Miami girl

MIAMI, Fla. -

An Amber Alert has been cancelled for 5-year-old Jayda Destiny Velazquez of North Miami Dade, Florida.

She was found safe by police shortly after the report of her missing went out. Police say that an update will be available later. She was described as a white/hispanic female 3 feet tall, 50 pounds, blonde hair possibly worn in a ponytail and brown eyes. She went missing in the area of 1900 Sanssouci Blvd. in North Miami.

Police are not saying if the female she was seen with was connected to her disappearance or how they found her.
