JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

At least two people were shot at Club Mirage in Brentwood early Thursday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The shooting happened about 3:30 a.m. in the 4900 block of North Main Street.

JSO told Channel 4 at the scene that someone walked through the front door of the club and started firing shots.

At least two people were hit and were transported to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

It is unclear who fired the shots, why they did, or at whom they were aiming.

The shooter ran out of the building and there was no suspect in custody.

JSO's aggravated battery unit is investigating.
