Riverside Avenue from Rosselle Street to Riverside Park Place was closed for about an hour Wednesday morning while the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office bomb squad checked out a suspicious backpack in a parking garage.

Crime scene tape blocked the road and surrounded the parking garage of Fidelity National Financial, just east of the Fuller Warren Bridge.

Within minutes of arriving, the bomb squad X-rayed the backpack and determined it posed no threat. Police removed the roadblocks and traffic returned to normal.
