Thirsty burglar
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A man who broke into a business early Tuesday morning apparently just wanted a drink from the vending machine.

Now Jacksonville police are trying to identify that man.

Officers were called to Fogelman Builder's Supply in the 5100 block of Longleaf Street in Northwest Jacksonville, where they said the burglar broke in and damaged about $1,000 worth of property.

Surveillance video shows the man trying to kick the vending machine in the company's break room and possibly looking for change in his pocket. He also tried to access other property inside the business before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

The burglar appears to be wearing dark pants, a light coat and a unique ski-style hat.

Anyone who has any information in regards to the man's identity or whereabouts is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward, call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
