O'Brothers Irish Pub celebrates St. Patrick's Day
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

O'Brother's Irish Pub is at the heart of one of the biggest St. Patrick's Day street parties celebrations in Jacksonville. Margaret Street in the 5-Polints in Riverside will be blocked off Sunday starting at 11 a.m. as thousands come together to celebrate the Irish holiday.

Curt Cabins, one of the brothers and co-owner of O'Brothers Irish Pub says St. Patrick's Day weekend is one of the biggest weekend for restaurants, especially Irish Restaurants.

"Everybody turns Irish on St. Patrick's Day," Cabins says. "Everybody comes out. We have a lot of reasons to celebrate."

Cabins says not only will there be traditional Irish food, but plenty of entertainment for the everyone. There will be live music from groups, Grandpa's Cough Medicine, Firewater Tent Revival, Back from the Brink, The Impediments and DJ Anonymous.

The block party has been going on since 2009 and has grown from just O'Brothers Irish Pub to involving many local businesses, and eight restaurants, including Mossfire Grill and Larry's Giant Subs.
