Crooks try to steal ATM from Kangaroo store

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Thieves broke the front door of a Kangaroo store in East Arlington early Monday morning in an attempt to steal the ATM inside the store, the store's owner said.

The crooks were unable to steal the ATM from the store in the 13900 block of Mount Pleasant Road.

Damage to the store was being repaired.

Anyone with any information about the attempted theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
