JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A custody battle is ensuing in the case of three children whose mother and her boyfriend were arrested last on child neglect and abuse charges.

Tameka Williams is charged with neglect and her boyfriend, Bacarius Burt, is charged with abuse in a case in which a 4-year-old girl was abused and tied up. Police said Williams didn't do anything to stop the abuse.

Williams' sister, Sabrina Dawson, has custody of the 4-year-old girl, two older twins, and a baby. Burt is the father of the baby, but not the other three.

The biological father of those three children went to family court Thursday to seek custody. Dawson said he's been out of the picture for years and has not kept up child support. She's fighting to keep custody.

The next hearing in the custody battle is scheduled for March 14.
