Chase & Cole Hakken

TAMPA, Fla. -

A statewide Amber Alert was issued Wednesday for two children taken from their grandmother's home in Tampa on Wednesday morning. Hillsborough County deputies said they are very concerned about the safety of 2-year old Chase Hakken and 4-year old Cole Hakken.

Authorities say Joshua Hakken came into Patricia Hauser's home on Shady Shores Drive, tied her up and took her two grandchildren.

Police say Hakken fled the home in Hauser's 2009 silver Toyota Camry.

Authorities are looking for the children, who could possibly be in a black 2006 GMC pickup with Florida tag U95KT registered to Joshua Hakken. They may be pulling a 2012 Forrest River pop camper, Florida tag BHNV-86.

Deputies believe Sharyn Hakken may be with them as well.

Chase Hakken is 3 feet tall, weighs 33 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing pajamas. Cole Hakken is 3 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 44 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes.  He was also last seen wearing pajamas.

Joshua and Sharyn Hakken -- the boys' parents -- are considered armed and dangerous and according to authorities, are anti-government and have attempted a previous abduction at gunpoint in Louisiana.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 911 or to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
