Girl falls from drawbridge at Castillo de San Marcos

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -

A 10-year-old girl was hospitalized Monday morning after she fell from the drawbridge leading to the Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine.

She fell about 10 feet into the dry moat that surrounds the front of the Castillo.

The girl was taken to Flagler Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She was said to be in stable condition.

No other information was immediately available.
