Gunman robs downtown Jacksonville Burger King

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police are looking for the man who held up the Burger King on State Street at 5 a.m. last Thursday.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the man entered the restaurant, showed a gun and demanded money. Surveillance cameras recorded the gunman jumping over the counter.

Police describe the robber as a black man in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing a fake beard that appeared to be made out of cotton balls.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the surveillance photos above or has any information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
