JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

More than 100 former Internet cafe employees in Jacksonville say they will file for unemployment Wednesday and protest the loss of their jobs.

They say the protest will happen outside the WorkSource building on Norwood Avenue at 11:30 a.m.

Gov. Rick Scott signed the ban on Internet cafes last week.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement officials say unlawful operations of cafes will mean patrons, owners and employees could be criminally prosecuted.
