Jacksonville Beach police search for bank robber

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -

Police are searching for a man possibly armed with a pistol who held up the SunTrust Back on Third Street South in Jacksonville Beach on Friday morning.

Jacksonville Beach police say they are looking for a white man with brown hair and brown eyes who was wearing a black mask and a brown sweatshirt when he entered the bank and demanded money.

Channel 4 viewers report police with rifles were seen around the bank, which is behind the Home Depot.

Anyone with information about the robbery or suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
