JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police in Jacksonville are asking for the public's help in finding a man sought in connection with the shooting death of another man earlier this month.

George Ware, 25, was shot and killed in the 1500 block of West 35th Street on Oct. 12.

Police said they've identified 36-year-old Corey Spann as the suspect and have issued a warrant for his arrest on a murder charge.

Police released two photos of Spann and said they don't know which one he may look like right now.

Anyone with any information on Spann's whereabouts is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
