A Jacksonville man is in critical condition after crashing his car Friday night on the Westside.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Normandy Boulevard near Country Club Boulevard.

According to the FHP report, Michael T. Hackett, 44, was driving a white Buick west on Normandy. For unknown reasons, Hackett veered left and hit the median. This caused the Buick to roll over, ejecting Hackett.

Hackett was transported to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center with critical injuries.

Troopers said Hackett was not wearing a seat beat and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
